Physical examination…

During my physical examination, my doctor asked me about my physical activity level.
I described a typical day this way:

“Well, yesterday afternoon, I took a five hour walk,
About 7 miles, through some pretty rough terrain.
I waded along the edge of a lake.
I pushed my way through brambles.
I got sand in my shoes and my eyes
I avoided standing on a snake.
I climbed several rocky hills.

I took a few ‘leaks’ behind some big trees.
The mental stress of it all left me shattered.
At the end of it all I drank eight beers”.

Inspired by the story, the doctor said,
“You must be one hell of an outdoors-man!”

“No,” I replied, “just a shitty golfer”.

Season Final / Champ and more…

• The 2014 season points championship has come to close.
The championship playoff round played out this past Wed. at Belleview between Chris Stedman and Matt Plant…  the official Riverside Putters 2014 Champion is…
“Matt Plant”! Congrats Matt!!!  :mrgreen:

Other news…
• The season Banquet will be held on Oct. 15th

Time: 7:00PM

Get out and play some golf for fun before the banquet!

• Next Week… We’ll be playing a fun round , the format is TBD and will be given at the course, so make sure you get there at the usual time if you want to participate.

Sept. 24th Final scores etc.

The scores from Sept. 24th have been posted and this week’s schedule is up.

Our second half winner is Matt Plant!  Merry Xmas Matt!  😉  lol

• Top three low net scores for Sept 24th:
Rob Bruce – 31 | Chris Stedman – 33 | Matt Plan – 33.  Nice rounds guys!

• There were two closest to the pins last week on the Par 3s – won by Chris Stedman and Matt Plant…  WTG Boys  and $@^# #$ again Matt!  😆 

So the grand finally is here… it’s really hard to believe the season has quietly snuck by (leave my grammar out of this! lol)… Wed. is our Championship night, see you there!
